Walking . . .

Evan has started walking behind his lion over the past few days and he's getting quite good at it! Check it out!

Big boy bed

Luke has moved to a "big boy" bed. He has slept in it for the past two nights and has done awesome. Naps have been a different story. Yesterday he got out of his bed and never did fall asleep and he's still back there chatting away after 2 hours today. We'll get there. He said he loves his "boy big bed". Too cute!

A busy weekend

We had a great time this past weekend! Luke and Evan had an awesome time hanging out with their cousins and aunt and uncle. Annie and I took the kids to the Magic House on Sunday and it was a blast. We were there for five hours, I don't know how my kids did it, but they did! It's always nice to have family visit . . . although it won't be too long before we're back in KC and can see each other whenever we want!!!

An Artsy Day

While was Evan was napping this morning, Luke put his artistic abilities to work. He finger painted several pictures and then moved on to sculpting with play-doh. He had a lot of fun. This is definitely something we should do more often!

Standing up

This is the position that you will find Evan in while he's awake. The boy LOVES to stand. It's just a matter of time before he begins cruising around. We can't believe how fast time is flying by.

The Bitner's Visit

Our good friends Chance, Lori, and their adorable daughter Eden came to visit over the weekend. We had a great time. The kids got along great and had fun playing together. I think Luke thought it was pretty cool to have a baby girl around for a couple of days. Evan just wanted to pat her head and pull up on her, it was pretty amusing. Clapping, one the latest things he's learned to do

Luke playing on the mattress in the living room. He's been playing with his cars on this ever since they left. I think he'd be just fine with it becoming a permanent fixture in the living room.

9 Months

Wow, how time flies! Evan is 9 months old today. He is doing great. He's learning new things everyday and is such a joy. It's a lot of fun to watch Luke and him interact. They have their good times and their bad, but they love each other. In fact, Luke says "I love Ev, he's my sweet baby" - seriously, it doesn't get any sweeter than that!!!

This has been a big developmental week for Evan. He has started crawling, pulling up on everything, and has learned to clap! It's absolutely precious. Here are some pictures taken over the past week.
