Getting Settled

We've been back in KC exactly one week today and we are adjusting quite well. The house is coming together quite nicely and we have a lot more space for all of the boys' stuff. They have been sharing a room, which has been going well. There have been some late nights, early mornings, and hectic naps, but we're getting there. We've been able to spend time with family twice this week already, which has been sooo much fun. We miss our friends back in St. Louis though! Some pictures of the house will be coming soon...

Happy Anniversary

Justin and I celebrated our 9 year anniversary today. It's been an amazing 9 years, to say the least. We've lived in St. Louis, KC, St. Louis, and now we're headed back to KC. I guess you could say we like jumping across the state. Also, in those wonderful 9 years we've been blessed with two beautiful boys and have our little girl due to arrive in October. We feel very fortunate and are very excited for what the future has in store. Below are some pictures from our "date" out. In other words, I opted not to make dinner and we ate at a local Mexican restaurant!

21 Weeks!

It's been a hectic few weeks. We've been busy packing and are just about ready to head back to KC. My awesome friends from MOPS had a going away party for me that was a lot of fun. We ate, chatted, and did pedicures. It was so nice to get together with them one last time before the move. I am going to miss them all very much and I hope that we are able to keep in touch.

It's a . . .

We had our ultrasound on Friday, June 4th and we discovered that we are having a GIRL!!! We were surprised, to say the least. Aside from being excited about adding a girl to the mix, the ultrasound revealed that everything looks good. She's a healthy and very active little girl. Oh boy, I guess it was a little reality check that in a few short months we're really going to have our hands full! My scanner is packed, so I have no fun ultrasound pics to share! Bummer.

17 Weeks

It's hard to believe that I'm 17 weeks into my third pregnancy, it's gone very fast so far. In less than 3 weeks we'll find out the gender!!!! Can't wait!

Our last days in FL and trip home

We had SUCH an amazing time in Destin. The weather was perfect and the boys were even better. We worried about them sharing a room throughout the week, but they loved it. I suppose it was practice for when we move back to KC in a few weeks! The last two days we went to the pool/beach again and then took another trip down 30-A to visit Rosemary Beach and Seaside. Again, it couldn't have gone any better. We made it safely home Saturday night and the boys are happy to be back to familiar surroundings and all of their toys. Enjoy the final pics from our trip!

Days 2 and 3

We're still having a great time. The weather has been awesome, it's actually gotten nicer each day that we've been here. Today Justin stayed in the condo while the boys napped so I could go back out and relax in the sun by myself. Naively I didn't reapply my sunblock after swimming in the pool, ocean, and having lunch. So . . . I now am extremely burnt! Oh well, I took a nap in the sun and was able to read uninterrupted for two hours, not bad! Here are some more pics.

1st Day in FL!!!

Justin and I decided to take a last minute vacation to . . . Florida. We drove through the night on Monday and got here early Tuesday morning. We are having an AWESOME time. The boys are loving the pool and beach. Below are some pictures from our first day. There will be plenty more to come over the next few days!

The weather was nice enough today that we were able to fill the pool up and let the boys have some fun in the sun! Although we tried to warm the water up, it was still a bit cool. They had a great time anyway. Can't wait for this summer!!!
