Snow Time!!!

We have had LOTS of snow recently. This was Luke and Evan's first time playing in the snow. Luke sat in the snow when he was about a year old, but that doesn't really count! Since their first time out we've been hit with TONS more snow, so they've been out several more times. They love it!

2 months!

Kate is two months old now and she's growing like a weed! She just had her two month check and she is doing fantastic. She is 13 pounds, 10 ounces (93rd percentile) and 25 inches long (98th percentile) her head is only in the 42nd percentile, so her head appears small on her chubby body! She's a super good baby and is starting to sleep well at night, usually only waking up once to eat and then goes right back to sleep. Thank goodness!

Crazy weather

Ok, so December 30th was freakishly warm (60 + degrees), so we absolutely HAD to go outside. Here are a few pics of the kids enjoying the unseasonably warm weather.

We had an amazing Christmas this year. It was wonderful being back home and not having to travel across the state to see everyone. We began the festivities at Justin's Aunt Reta and Uncle Mike's house. We stretched the Christmas holiday out until New Year's Eve, finishing up at Justin's parents house. Fun times were had by all!

We recently celebrated Justin's and our brother-in-laws birthdays. Poor Justin's birthday was in October, but we were busy having a baby, so his party was pushed back a month! It was well worth the wait. : )

1 Month

Kate is 1 month old! Wow, it's gone fast. She was back to birth weight at 1 week, so we don't go back to the doctors office until she's 2 months old. Too bad, because we're anxious to find out how much she's grown! Here are some 1 month pictures we took around the house.

Lately . . .

It's been a month since Kate entered this world and she truly is a blessing. Everyone is adjusting really well to our new addition. The boys adore her and I know she'll love them just as much someday. We're settling into a rhythm that seems to be working for us. She is starting to have longer stretches of sleep during the night, so that is making it easier to function during the day! Hopefully she'll start sleeping through the night sooner than Evan did (9 months!!!). Only time will tell! Wish us luck!
