Fall Fun!

These pictures are pretty blurry since they were taken with my phone, but it's always on me, so it's what I have! Fall is officially here and we've been trying to get outside as much as we can to enjoy the beautiful weather before the cold sets in. It's been pretty busy. We've hit Santa-Cali-Gon Days, Fall Fun Fest, Oktoberfest, and the Plaza Art Fair all within the past month. I think Justin is a little exhausted with the weekend "go mode", but I want to get out and do as much as possible before baby girl arrives. Whew, here are some pictures taken over the past two weeks. A little of this & a little of that

Summer feels like it's finally come to an end. The weather is beautiful and I'm feeling HUGE! With only 5 more weeks to go until baby girl arrives I figured I better get my act together and get her room finished. Below are some pics of the finished work, we think it's pretty cute. It was fun to put a girls room together this time. Oh and of course there are some pics of the boys playing with play-doh. It was Evan's first time working with it and he did pretty good - at least he didn't' try to eat it!

Finger painting

The boys had a full day of playing outside and then moved inside to finger paint. This was Evan's first experience with painting and his first instinct was to eat it. Ugh, in his defense I did put the paint on their lunch plates. This nearly ruined his fun painting time, but he got over it after washing his mouth out and taking a big drink of water! Next time, I'll be prepared.

Fun with Clifford

Last week my friend Lori and I met at Crown Center to check out the Clifford exhibit. The kids had a lot of fun playing and we capped the day off with lunch at Fritz's. Overall, it was a huge success. Although, I must admit, 4 toddlers definitely took it out of me!

Deanna Rose

Justin's mom and I took the boys to Deanna Rose Farmstead this week. It was our first visit there and we LOVED it. The boys had an awesome time. There was lots to do and we'll definitely be going back soon! Marking on the chalkboards in the schoolhouse

Evan was very interested in the goats, but Luke wasn't so sure. When we walked in Luke had the bottle and the goats literally mauled him. That nearly ruined the experience, but he came around, eventually.

Birthday Weekend

This past weekend we celebrated my 30th birthday! We had a great time. We spent most of the day on the lake Saturday, followed by dinner with Justin's mom, dad, sister and family. Then, we ended the weekend with dinner at my mom's house. It was a great way to celebrate my first birthday back home!

29 weeks!

29 weeks and counting! I'm feeling good, although the heat is pretty intense. Overall, everything is going really well and we are looking forward to baby girl's arrival! Whew, October is going to be here before we know it!

Hair and the Lake

The boys were due for a haircut, so we took a trip to visit my sister at her salon. As you'll see in the pictures, she did an awesome job. We really had a hard time deciding to cut Evan's hair, but it was time! Then, today we went to the lake with family. It was SUPER hot, but we had a great time. I love summer time, but I have to admit, it's a whole different ball game being pregnant and chasing after two toddlers!
